These warm brown handmade recycled glass donut beads are crafted on the island of Java, Indonesia using a traditional hand-wound technique — an artisan melts a glass rod over a flame and winds the molten glass around a metal mandrel. The result is a smooth, organic bead with a soft matte finish that mimics the look of vintage Venetian and African trade beads. Each 24-inch strand has approximately 175-180 pieces and is perfect for bracelets, necklaces, earrings and multi-strand designs.
