Gobi Agate

Gobi Agate

Gobi Agate is a natural banded chalcedony in warm, earthy tones — beige, brown, red, green, and tan with subtle banding and condensed texture. The name comes from the Gobi Desert region of Mongolia and northern China, where the original Gobi Agates were shaped by extreme weathering over millions of years.

A note on origin: in the bead trade, "Gobi Agate" often describes the visual style more than the literal source. Our Gobi Agate beads are sourced from Brazil and cut in China. The look is authentic — earthy tones, condensed quality, banded surface. We label this honestly.

100% natural. No dyes, no heat treatment.

Available in smooth rondelles, faceted rondelles, and faceted off rounds in 6mm and 8mm. Beautiful in earthy, grounded, and nature-inspired jewelry.
