Hematoid Quartz is quartz with a fiery secret inside — natural inclusions of hematite (iron oxide) that streak and cloud the crystal in warm reds, oranges, rusts, and golden yellows. Each bead is a little landscape of quartz and iron.

A note on the names: the red version is widely known as Fire Quartz, while the golden-yellow version is often called Golden Healer. They're the same stone — Hematoid Quartz — just colored by how much hematite is present. The more iron, the deeper toward red; less iron leans gold.

Our Hematoid Quartz is 100% natural — the color comes entirely from the hematite within. No dyes, no heat treatment.

Available in red, yellow, and dark golden, in smooth rounds (6mm-10mm), faceted flat squares, faceted rice beads, and faceted twist helix.
