Agate is one of the oldest and most widely loved gemstones in the world — a banded variety of chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz) that forms in volcanic rock and sedimentary deposits across every continent. Every piece is unique. No two strands ever quite match.

Our Agate Strands collection spans 13 varieties, each with its own personality:

• Naturals: Botswana, Bamboo Leaf, Crazy Lace, Flower, Gobi, Grey, India, Moss, Ocean, Tree
• Heated: Carnelian (heat brings out the warm orange-red tones)
• Dyed: Black, Red Stripe, plus dyed colors in some other types
