Tree Agate

Tree Agate

Tree Agate is a striking white-and-green chalcedony — a milky, mostly opaque base scattered with green dendrites that branch across the stone like tiny forests and feather-like fronds. No two beads are alike.

A note on the name: Tree Agate's branching inclusions are called dendrites — from the Greek for "tree" — and it belongs to the dendritic family of chalcedony, alongside Moss Agate. Tree Agate has green dendrites and reads opaque; Moss Agate is more translucent. Strictly speaking, Tree Agate isn't a true banded agate — it's chalcedony with iron and manganese inclusions.

Our Tree Agate is 100% natural — no dyes, no heat treatment.

Available in smooth rounds (4mm-10mm), faceted rounds, matte rounds, large-hole 8mm, rondelle disks, and smooth stars. Beautiful in earthy, woodland, and cottagecore jewelry.
