Seraphinite

Seraphinite

Seraphinite is a deep forest green stone threaded with intricate, iridescent silver fibers that shimmer and shift as the stone moves in light — an optical phenomenon called chatoyancy. Those feathery silver patterns are so striking that the stone was named after the seraphim angels of biblical tradition, the six-winged celestial beings whose wings are said to shine like fire. Seraphinite is also known as Serafina. The primary source of fine Seraphinite is Russia, specifically the Lake Baikal region of Siberia — ours is sourced directly from Russia.
