Labradorite

Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar with dark grey or grey-black base concealing its true magic: labradorescence. Vivid flashes of blue, green, gold, orange, and purple shift and shimmer as light moves. Each bead is unique.

Legend says the Northern Lights fell from the sky and were trapped inside these stones. The truth: exceptional optical effects from layered feldspar reflecting light.

Mohs 6-6.5 — moderately durable. Best for earrings, pendants, and necklaces. Avoid rings and bracelets for daily wear. Perfect cleavage means handle gently.

Clean gently with warm soapy water. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and sudden temperature changes. Store separately from harder stones.
