Crazy Lace

Crazy Lace Agate — sometimes called the "Laughter Stone" — is a banded chalcedony famous for its swirling, looping patterns of white, cream, gray, brown, and warm reds and oranges. No two stones are alike, and the patterns are intricate enough to look painted by hand. Most Crazy Lace comes from northern Mexico.

Our Crazy Lace Agate collection includes both natural strands (where the soft cream, peach, and earth tones are nature's work) and dyed varieties in vivid colors like blue. We always label which is which.
