Apatite

Apatite comes in some of the most vivid, electric blue and blue-green tones you'll find in any natural stone, ranging from soft teal to striking neon blue that almost glows. It's a phosphate mineral found most commonly in Brazil, and while it's been used in jewelry since the late 1800s, it's become increasingly popular with today's jewelry makers who love its intense color payoff. With a Mohs hardness of 5, it's best suited for necklaces and earrings rather than bracelets or rings. We carry natural apatite bead strands in a range of shapes and sizes, all priced per strand.
