Agate is a common rock formation, consisting of chalcedony and quartz as its primary components, consisting of a wide variety of colors. Agates are primarily formed within volcanic and metamorphic rocks. Grey Agate is simply named for its color.  It is a slightly transparent to milky opaque Grey Agate.

This is a natural stone that has had no treatment other than cutting, drilling, and polishing in China.
