Golden Hematoid is primarily composed of quartz with inclusions of iron oxide, which gives them their distinctive golden or yellow color. With this higher concentration of iron oxide the stone presents a golden hue instead of the typical red or orange shades seen in other Red Hematoid Quartz.

Brazil is a real hotspot when it comes to the stone as it is home to some of the world's largest Hematoid Quartz deposits.
