Tourmaline is a crystalline boron silicate mineral compounded with elements such as aluminum, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, or potassium. Tourmaline is classified as a semi-precious stone and it holds the record for one of the most colorful gemstones. The Tourmaline is also known as the "Rainbow Gem" because is the only gem that can come in every color.

Indicolite is a rare light blue to bluish green color variety of Tourmaline group. Its name comes from the indigo color. It can range from light to dark saturated blue and it can have some degree of green in them.

Indicolite Tourmaline is occasionally found wherever there are major Tourmaline deposits. The main sources are Brazil, Nigeria, Afghanistan, the USA (California and Maine), Mozambique, Namibia, and Madagascar.

Hardness 7-7.5 

 This is a natural stone that has had no treatment other than cutting, drilling, and polishing. 

 The source of these beads is Brazil, and they are cut, drilled, and polished in China.
