Indicolite is a rare light blue to bluish green color variety of Tourmaline group. Its name comes from the indigo color. It can range from light to dark saturated blue and it can have some degree of green in them.
Indicolite Tourmaline is occasionally found wherever there are major Tourmaline deposits. The main sources are Brazil, Nigeria, Afghanistan, the USA (California and Maine), Mozambique, Namibia, and Madagascar.
